Here are some additional photos of the two BP motorcycles from Denmark. A few years ago, Part II mentioned both of them.
The Ariel has a curved handlebar, separately cast tailpipe, trademark name on the gas tank, and comes with a sidecar. Ariel was a British manufacturer of bicycles and motorcycles. Their first motorcycle came out in 1902 and production ended in 1967 (by then owned by BSA).
The Nimbus has a handlebar curving downward and no name on the gas tank, but it has BP cast on the side. It is also attached to a sidecar. The Nimbus was an actual Danish-made motorcycle (the only one?) and was made from 1919 – 1928, and then from 1934 – 1960.
The same sidecar was used for both motorcycles. These motorcycles are fairly large and are 5 in (13 cm) in length.
