McDonalds is appealing to our inner child with the release of its limited edition Adult Happy Meals with, of course, a coveted toy inside.
For the month of October, McDonalds is offering one of our favorite fast food treats, only in an adult version. But it doesn’t end with nostalgia and perhaps some indigestion.
Each Happy Meal comes with one of four exclusive figures from the streetwear brand Cactus Plant Flea Market. Cactus is becoming a giant in the industry working alongside brands such as Nike and celebrities such as Travis Scott to create “unique visual language that combines asymmetrical typography with puff-print graphics.”
With that in mind, the Cactus’ McDonalds figures — Birdie, Grimace and Hamburglar, as well as Cactus Buddy — feature four eyes.
Turns out, the figures were more than just a hit with hungry adults. As a collectible, the figures can be found for as much as $300,000 on eBay! That’s not a bad for a toy/meal that typically sells for fewer than $11.
Which one do you hope to find when you open your McDonald’s Adult Happy Meal? After you finish eating, head over to hobbyDB and add yours to your collection here!
why two sets of eyes?
One had been done already… It’s all in the name of art I guess.
