I have been collecting designer toys since 2004 and this is my weekly column. I also have other interests (I am for example the Curator of the Breyer Horses and Warne’s Observer’s Pocket Books and generally am known to add anything cute to my collection).
This week’s Art Toy of the Week is the Godzilla-stomping Toyconosaurus, the mascot for ToyCon UK. At each ToyCon show a new colourway is released of the 5″ tall figure, first released in 2013. A larger 10″ tall figure has also been created in limited quantities. And if you’re lucky enough to visit ToyCon, you’ll meet the huge Toyconosaurus whose almost 4 feet tall (and absolutely not for sale haha!).

ToyCon UK takes place this weekend on the 27th and 28th April at Novotel London West Hotel in Hammersmith. If you want to snag a Toyconosaurus make sure you come along!
