I have been collecting designer toys since 2004 and this is my weekly column. I also have other interests (I am for example the Curator of the Breyer Horses and Warne’s Observer’s Pocket Books and generally am known to add anything cute to my collection).
This week’s Art Toy of the Week is the quirky Bunnyvan by Jeremy Fish. Part of a series of unusual figures produced by StrangeCo and Fifty24SF back in 2005, Bunnyvan was modelled on a camper van with bunny ears and legs, and was poseable too! The vinyl figure is 7″ long and was only released in two limited colourways, the regular full colour version and a very limited gold version.
Regular edition Bunnyvan
These are very scarce figures now, and one on my bucket list, if you see one, snag it!
Not sure how I missed this post! As a car guy this shot to the top of my list of favorite art toys 😁 A Dodge A100 with bunny legs and ears, who would’ve thought?! Love the quirkiness of it.
