Valiant Comics sprang to life in 1990 via Voyage Communications with the likes of Nintendo-themed comics such as Super Mario Bros. and Captain Nintendo.
Valiant got busy with hundreds of new issues over the years and introducing its universe of great characters, including Bloodshot, Livewire and Harbinger, to name a few of many.
Acclaim Entertainment assumed the mantle of Valiant Comic four years later before giving way in 2012 to current owners Valiant Entertainment.
