The Dutch model vehicle brand is renowned for its highly-detailed and limited edition 1:43 scale models. And now hobbyDB is the one-stop, all-inclusive hub for the diehard Rialto Models collector.
Rialto Models humbly rolled up its Zoetermeer, Netherlands, garage doors for the first time in 1998, unveiling simple, yet, accurate 1:43 scale models. The brand rose in popularity two years later with a classic line of 1:43 models from the likes of Jaguar and Bristol that featured increased detail, as well as photo-etched parts and moldings.
In 2008, Rialto took off when it introduced its 3D CAD/CAM system for the development, 3D printing, and milling of master-patterns. The process increased efficiency, was faster and made an already very accurate model even more accurate.
Each Rialto model is crafted exclusively in Europe from resin, white-metal and nickel-plated parts and packaged in a transparent showcase – traditionally in limited editions numbering around 100 models globally.
