I have been collecting designer toys since 2004 and this is my weekly column. I also have other interests (I am for example the Curator of the Breyer Horses and Warne’s Observer’s Pocket Books and generally am known to add anything cute to my collection).
This week’s Art Toy of the Week is Nekofukurou by Jeff Soto and produced by Blackbook Toy back in 2014. The name literally translates to “Cat-Owl”, the figure is two-faced with an owl face on one side and an angry cat on the other. They stand 6″ tall and will just about stack on top of one another! They were released in a number of limited edition colourways.
