This is Part 4 of my 2025 International Toy Fair in Nuremberg-Blog. This time the focus is on news from Majorette.
Like in 2024, I spent a lot of time at the Simba-Dickie Group stand, where the same friendly product manager gave me a guided tour through their Majorette section. Majorette is undergoing quite some changes… First of all, they introduced a new logo expressing the connection to France, where it all started.
Majorette have completely re-designed their assortment and series. There will be 5 assortments going forward, which will be recognizable from the colors on the packaging: Ride Strong (yellow), Ride Cool (blue), Ride Wild (green), Ride Now (Red) and a Collection series (no specific color).
What the differences will be between these series was not entirely clear to me, as there seems to be a lot of overlap. The team at Majorette has put a lot of thought into this redesign, so it will probably all make sense. The 5th assortment will be called “Collection” and contains models for adult collectors.
As many of the models on display had not been officially announced or issued yet, unfortunately I was not allowed to take pictures of everything. Still, there were plenty of new items which were allowed to be photographed, which I can share here.
The blue Alpine of the French Gendarmerie and the VW ID.Buzz “Notarzt” in the background already were issued as part of the 2024 Global Emergency Vehicles Anniversary Giftpack, but now will be made available in single packs too. More interesting in this picture is the model in the middle… This is a Kia Performance Car of the Australian Police. Originally this model was going to be part of the 2024 Global Emergency Vehicles Anniversary Giftpack, but it ended up being replaced by a white Honda Civic Type R Global (also of the Australian police). I am glad that Majorete will be issuing the black/white Kia Performance Australian Police Car after all! I hope they will do this quickly, as I can hardly wait to add it to my collection!!
Within the Ride Wild assortment, there will be a new Graffiti series, including single models and some Gift Packs. The Graffiti theme is not one of my favourites, but maybe these models are of interest for other collectors, so here we go:
The yellow model will be exclusive to this Gift Pack.If I had to chose from this lot, I would go for the Dodge Challenger…
13 models in this Gift Pack! As the entire pack is issued under the Graffiti theme, I assume that it will contain some stickers or decals to apply on the 9 plain models.
Within the Ride Wild assortment, also a Racing series will be issued. It will contain a wide variety of models (regular cars, racing cars and trucks) in racing livery.
I love the Ford Mustang and the Shelby Cobra!Look at this beauty! And it even has an opening trunk!
Within the Ride Cool assortment, there will be a Vintage series, which, for instance, will contain this beautiful Citroen DS in light blue with a white roof and opening doors.
Completely new castings are planned for this Collection series, which focuses on the more adult collectors. The models will come in nice display cases and will have very nice wheels and many chrome parts and other nice details. Unfortunately these models will not have opening parts.
