Karl AKA Stroget is an active curator at HobbyDB of many of the 1/43 model car brands. He has been adding model cars to the DB since 2014; some of his favorites are Alfa Romeo and obsolete Tekno from Denmark!
I have been going through old hardcopy Model Auto Review magazines and just saw this old article from May 1999 in Model Auto Review 131. 25 years ago, Jim McLachan, well known VW model expert, reported on Roly Toys from Brazil.
In fact, we ran a series of articles on Roly from 2018 to 2022 in the HobbyDB Blog. No new information has come to light from that old 1999 article, but it’s fun to see it from long ago!
