I have been collecting designer toys since 2004 and this is my weekly column. I also have other interests (I am for example the Curator of the Breyer Horses and Warne’s Observer’s Pocket Books and generally am known to add anything cute to my collection).
This week’s Art Toy of the Week is Soul Rider by Dulk and produced by Thundermates in 2022. This stunning detailed piece, featuring Dulk’s “Soul Rider” character riding his parrot-like steed, stands just over 15″ tall and was limited to just 100 pieces. If you want to find one of these you’ve got a hunt on your hands!
i like the style of the vinyl it reminds of the 1950’s style 2000’s cartoons.
