Modelant is what we all like in the hobby, a brand that is run by some crazy builders and makes what nobody else wants to touch in amazing quality.
Created and owned by Albert Jobal, it makes resin slot cars in a completely artisanal manner, following traditional methods, both in the conception and construction of his models.

With nearly 25 years of professional experience in the slot car world, the Modelant project began already in 2011, with the goal isto offer the collector faithful replicas of 1/32 scale slot vehicles in resin, exclusive and with historical interest. Last year their Lotus Mark VIII won the Slot Car Category at the 2024 Model Car Hall of Fame
He works using development methods that some artists today would think as primitive: starting from plans and dimensions, modeling from scratch with hand tools. This gives a special character to the cars, which are created with passion, just as their 1/1 counterparts were in their day.
Labor of love
Another distinguishing feature of Modelant is that all the cars are entirely made by hand in his workshop in Sabadell, near Barcelona. We think it shows!
