Lone Star discontinued its line of 1:50 scale models in the mid-60s, in favor of a smaller line of model cars. The result was the Lone Star Roadmaster Super Cars collection, which arrived in 1:60 scale and featured low friction wheels on thin wire axles.
In 1969 they were rebranded as Flyers and eventually back to the Impy name. Today they can be highly sought after by collectors. See them all now on hobbyDB where you can document, build and track your entire collection.
