I have been collecting designer toys since 2004 and this is my weekly column. I also have other interests (I am for example the Curator of the Breyer Horses and Warne’s Observer’s Pocket Books and generally am known to add anything cute to my collection).
This week’s Art Toy of the Week is Tiyoko by Japanese illustrator, Yuri Takahashi, in 2024. Tiyoko is a character created by Yuri and self-produced into a cute 4.5″ tall sofubi vinyl figure. There are loads of really cute colourways now released of Tiyoko and you should be able to find some available from good sofubi retailers.
