Top-10 Most Valuable Hummel Figurines Found on hobbyDB

Hummel

Hummel figurines first got their start in the early 1930s as postcards in Germany and Switzerland featuring the artwork of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel.

The art depicting children in pastoral settings soon caught the eye of Franz Geobel, who partnered with Sister Hummel to create the fabled figures. After debuting at the Leipzig Trade Fair, it didn’t take long for the figurines to become a hit, especially with United States Soldiers stationed in West Germany during World War II, who would send Hummels to their families back home.

And the figurines are still popular today, and quite valuable, which inspired us to examine the Top-10 Most Valuable Hummel figurines.

Estimated values are always fluctuating, particularly as we add more and more price points to the hobbyDB database. Follow this link to see the Most-Valuable Hummel figurines currently found on hobbyDB.
